We want to do it right, and we want to know HOW to do it right, but sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees.
Whether you are a puppy owner looking to get off on the right foot, or have an older dog with some issues you want to iron out, or are a veterinary nurse looking to give THE BEST service to your clients, I want to make it easy to find all the information you need.
You've waited a long time for this puppy; your new companion, your sidekick, your best buddy.
You want to be able to go anywhere, everywhere, and do everything you've daydreamed of, together. You know that a bomb-proof, friendly, chilled out dog doesn't just 'happen', it takes thought, effort, a strong relationship and careful training.
This program takes you step by step, week by week, through what you need to know and do, in order to maximise the chance of your puppy growing up to enjoy the life you have envisioned for you both.
BEFORE YOU GET YOUR PUPPY....
Ensuring you and your puppy develop the relationship you both want starts with the decisions you make BEFORE you get them. How can you make sure you choose the right breed and breeder for you?
Shockingly, one in four puppies in the UK now are from puppy farms, so knowing what to look out for to avoid this helps ensure you get a puppy with a better chance of fitting in with your family, and coping with the world you want them to live in.
Does your dog struggle to cope with being left at home alone? Maybe they show it with house soiling, destructiveness, barking or howling...either way, you're both having a pretty rubbish time.
This comprehensive program will guide you step by step towards the more peaceful life you both deserve.
Message me, and we can have chat and find out if this is the solution for you!
Thank you for coming to find out a bit more about me.
It was my love of dogs and their training and behaviour that led me to change career and become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, qualifying in 2009. I have continued to focus on behaviour as my speciality, completing the British Veterinary Nursing Association’s Small Animal Behaviour Certificate, and being assessed and granted membership of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (that was a REALLY hard exam!).
I have been running Puppy Socialisation Classes within veterinary clinics since 2004. I now offer one-to-one, individually tailored sessions and programs privately, as well as Monthly Puppy Clinics and Behaviour Triage Clinics through Westmoor Veterinary Hospital in Tavistock, where I work as an RVN.
I get very animated and passionate about PREVENTING problems from developing in puppies, which means making it easy for owners to find the right information as early as possible.
